Couples therapy.
Working on the dynamic underneath the fight you keep having. Attachment-informed and depth-oriented, and not a referee model.
- Length
- 60-minute sessions
- Cadence
- Weekly or biweekly
- Format
- Virtual or in-person (MPLS)
Who it's for
Best fit if…
- 01You're having the same fight in different costumes.
- 02You want something past communication skills, closer to actual repair.
- 03One or both of you have done individual work and want to bring it home.
- 04You're at a decision point and need clarity before you make it.
What it looks like
The shape of the work.
Intake
One 75-minute couple session followed by an individual session for each of you. By session four we usually have a working map.
The work
We slow the loop down enough that you can see the attachment dynamic firing underneath it, then practice doing something different in the room.
Repair, not refereeing
I won't be picking a winner. The goal is to understand what each of you is protecting and what the relationship pays for that protection.
When it ends
Either you've shifted the pattern and want to maintain it, or you've gotten clear about what you need to decide. Both are useful outcomes.
